you can setup raid with esata? and can if you can, get you set it up so only one drive it on esata while the other is on normal sata?
looking to set up raid incase of harddrive failure and have one be esata so it can sit out side of the case so it can be put inside a firesafe at the end of the day everyday and quickly put back on everyday.
Any ideas?

I don't see why not. However you'd have to connect the eSATA drive internally to the same controller as the SATA drive using a SATA to eSATA converter. I think it'd probably be easier just to use an external drive/dock and mirror it with software.
