Theme change

Is there a way to change the layout of the forum? I know some sites have themes, this is just too dark for me. Text is too hard to read, and the columns are really compressed.

What text is hard to read?  I don't have a problem with any of it.

Mostly its hard to read because the columns are so thin. Just make them utilize the area a bit better. I would remove the view section-don't really see the point of it. If you do keep it, make it and the replies column alot thinner-its only a three or four digit number, no need for it to be so big. The started by and last post columns are OK, but they too could be a bit thinner. With the extra space make the subject column larger.
And if possible, make the "new" icon indicating a new post easier too see (not blue on a blue background) by making it orange or red.

To answer the original question, at this time No, the future? maybe. The SMF software has the capability for it, but we only have this one. Since this has become kind of like a suggestion thread now, I'm moving it to Bug's and Suggestions.

I am defiantly going to take your suggestion of the "new" icon into making it a different color, I think it's a great idea and I'll see what I can come up with to replace it.

I will also look into making the Replies and View's column smaller.

Also it would be nice if the text was a bit bigger everywhere but the posts and sidebar. And possibly keep away from dark colors on the blue background, it blends in there too.

...Except you forgot to actuallt move it. Don't worry, I will.

Maybe I can take a crack at the "New" icon too, if I get bored enough.
