I think its better for kids to pay for their own cars, mostly because when they are paying for it, they seem to crash them a hell of a lot less :]

Lol.  Well i gotta pay for my own college too.  But fortunately my dad is a professor at Carnegie Mellon University.  So.  Free college there as long as he keeps his job.  :)

it's a 1974 corvette stingray 350ci/350hp, absolutely beautiful. and the best part is we might be able to do a little switcheroo. his stingray for our belair (remember those pics i posted a lil while back?) right now we're emailing back and forth and each getting a little bit closer to an agreement. my dad and i actually went to a giant car show today with our 53 in new hampshire and almost got a trade there too (for a green stingray 1974) but we waited too long and it was gone by the time we walked to our car and back - a matter of 10 minutes!!!). but anyway, this new one's a serious possibility, and i'm getting more and more excited even as i type this.


on another note, there's a piece of shit 1976 nissan datsun z280 for sale right near my house for a low low price of only $750! That's right, for just $750 this piece of machinery can be yours! come on down!
-->that'll sure be interesting if i go with that. although i think i want to sell it to my asian friend because it somehow seems to scream ASAIN INSIDE!!! don't know how that happens, but it does :D

Given up on getting a spoiler, just ordered a couple parts yesterday, going to put them on then go ahead and get it painted. Then I need to fix my driver door panel so I can put the arm rest back on, and return the speakers I got for chirstmas for the slightly bigger ones and install those and I'll be done for now. In a month or so I'll get a new stereo.

I went to the Pick Your Parts junkyard and got a few missing cover pieces for the interior for a total of 12$ over the weekend too.
