It's a pretty fast car for the hp to weight ratio.. I would probably kill myself in it, because I would drive it like a go-kart. 

hehe... well, in Top Gear it ended up 4th on the track... meaning between all those 300/400 BHp V12 Ferraries etc.,..  and then immagine the tested Elise 'only' had a 4Cil 190 BHp Toyota engine.
and.. its not THAT small..  its just very low.   but its the most fun car i've driven so far.

Naw they are a generic brand. VR3. I got them off my friend. Box, 2 10s, all the wiring, and an amp for 100. They hit damn hard though...until I blew them... lol

I was just thinking of your car today.  On my car calendar at work todays car was a Lotus Exige, which is the 190 HP version.  I'm not sure if that ones convertible or not?  Plus is your car 5 speed or 6?

the exige's are not convertable as far as i know.   mine is 5 speed, with the engine of a 111S

okay, so i've officially driven my car past the 100,000 mile mark. it really was as exciting as it sounds.

speaking of my car, i've been meaning to get these pics up here after my tragic crash (although it looks a lot better now than it did immediately after the ordeal):




here's the driver side (the good side):



now we move onto the more ugly side of the car...
the pass side parking light held on with duct tape:



damage to the pass front fender - all nice and crumpled up.. i actually had to use a crowbar and hammer to pry that fender away from the door so it would actually be able to open..



and the now beautiful rear fender that was banged out from the trunk using a sledge hammer  and then spray painted with a black primer... you gotta admit the skillz in that repair job ..




and finally the pass taillight that i epoxied back together and i'll eventually need to get a new one:

the best part is, the job on the front was quickly done on the side of the highway with a roll in someone else's car. but i liked it so much i decided to leave it just the way it is.

I'll have to get some new pics up as well.. But it's been so darn cold and my car has been covered in salt for the last few weeks. Maybe today I can get it to the car wash!

yeah the salt really gives it a great new look without the cost of going to maaco

ugh, I hate salt...

I have a car wash plan for $20 a month, and go once or twice a week depending on how much snow, how wet it is etc.. just to keep the salt of, and keep rusting to a minimum...


next winter, I will hopefully have a winter car, most likely a truck to go ice fishing in, and in the summer to haul our boat around
