hi palmmann  :)

the software you suggested made my life a lot easier.. but now i face another problem
i got the info how to display it on the lcd via ports.... but actually the lcd on which i will be displaying wont be directly connected to the ports.. it will be on the remote.. a microcontroller(uC) wil be at the port which will be receiving all the data to be displayed on the lcd.. and i am planning it to send it to the remote with the help of IR or radio freqency modules in the form of binary.... but you see as i have no clue in what form the data is sent to the uC, i cant figure out how to read it using uC and the send it.

pls help! :-\

sorry to dissappoint, but i don't know what form the data is in. i had just seen that software mentioned on hackaday once or twice and thought it might help. i really know nothing about lcds.
